Here are some guidelines to help you understand my packaging and shipping process.
Artwork
Many of my paintings will be shipped unframed, allowing you the pleasure of displaying and framing your new artwork in a way that best works for you artistically. Other paintings have been framed by our local shop wood elves. These are beautiful, simple wooden frames which display the paintings nicely.
I'm doing a lot of oil painting these days, and will sometimes put up a brand new still-wet painting, just because I'm so excited about it. If you would like to purchase one of these hot-off-the-press paintings, you are most welcome to, and I will drop you an email, letting you know when it will be ready for shipping. A brand new painting generally takes anywhere from 2-6 weeks to dry, depending on how thickly I've laid down the paint.
Payment
If you would like to purchase a piece of art you see available here, pressing the Add to the Cart button will link you to a window for paying with a credit card or Pay Pal. Once funds have cleared, I'll drop you an email to let you know when I'll have your art packaged and ready to ship. I'm also quite happy to accept a check, or Venmo, which eliminates that extra surcharge.
Shipping
Small artwork is shipped free of charge to anywhere within the continental U.S. by either FedEx Ground or USPS. With larger pieces, I will box up, weigh, and then send you a final shipping/handling cost which can be paid via Venmo, Credit card, Pay pal or check. All artwork will be packaged carefully, and shipping will include insurance and tracking.
If you live outside the Continental U.S, please contact me on my Contact page for shipping rates. For these orders, the buyer will be responsible for whatever shipping, duties, taxes and brokerage fees are required by their state or country.
Returns
I do my best to photograph and edit my art so that the images placed on this site are as true to life as I can make them. However, as we know, colors vary from screen to screen. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchased art, please contact me within 15 days of delivery to arrange for return. The buyer will be responsible for return shipping costs, and when I have received the artwork in it's original condition, a full refund (minus return shipping) will be issued.
If your package arrives damaged, please keep the original shipping box and packaging materials and call FED EX (800-463-3339) or USPS (800-275-8777) for further instructions.
